Great sturdy bag, but....

A great sturdy bag but, literally, after just a few days, and getting wet once, there are rust marks showing on the chrome tabs on the ends of the straps. The square hoops also show a few spots. The buckles, fortunately, are aluminium. Bought this to use as a mini saddle bag on my motorcycle. Worked out perfectly. Carefully removing the internal divider, you can snuggly fit a 2L Systema plastic container in there. A good spray of water proofing, and some Lanocote on those above mentioned steel parts, it should work well. Just a shame they didn’t use a little bit of stainless steel or aluminium for those parts.
