East German Motorcycle Goggles

These East German goggles were issued to the NVA (Nationale Volksarmee - National People's Army) and were intended for use while riding motorcycles. The clear lens will protect the wearer from dirt, dust and bugs, which is particularly handy for off-road riding.

Above the lens is an adjustable ventilation system, featuring 4 slots for air to pass through. The vents can be partially opened or closed to get the perfect amount of airflow to your face. An adjustable, elastic strap will ensure a secure fit over your head while the foam padding sits comfortably around your eyes. These goggles would be great for off-road cycling or motorbike riding. They could also be used for skiing. Although the lens is not tinted, they will protect your eyes from ice pellets.
