Are you the poor bugger lumping that squad automatic weapon around the place? Yeah, carrying a LMG sucks but it can suck a lot less with a decent sling. These slings are made by various manufacturers under US government contract. The attachment webbing widths vary between 3-5cm but either way they will loop through/around the likes of a M249 or M240 swivel or stock. The one thing they have in common is a padded area, something that is important for hanging 15kg of ass-kicking around your shoulders. Metal D-rings are used to both adjust the length and secure the sling in place. Probably the least hi-tec sling compared to rifle versions, but its caveman simple and gets the job done.
