Description

Expand your Alpenflage range with this Swiss Army shirt. With a bunch of handy features, this shirt won't let you down. The alpenflage pattern (officially TAS 83) is a distinctly Swiss camouflage that was rather oddly referred to as Vierfruchtpyama (four fruit pajamas) by troops.

Constructed out of a rugged poly/cotton blend on a mid-weight weave. Combined with the reinforced elbows, these are some pretty tough shirts. Slots for holding pens are located on the inside of the left chest pocket. Below the shoulder epaulettes, on the left arm is an FFD pocket. Two belt loops around the waist are adjustable using snap domes. Elasticated and zip-up cuffs ensure a good fit, rolled up or down. This is a lot of shirt for a little price. An excellent camouflage for airsoft players and hunters.

Features:

  • Rugged poly/cotton fabric
  • Reinforced elbows
  • Two snap dome chest pockets
  • FFD arm pocket
  • 6cm/10cm waist belt loops
  • Elasticated and zip cuffs
  • Zip-up front
  • Shoulder epaulettes

I love this thing

$18.50 for unissued?! Even if you're indifferent to Alpenflage as a pattern this is insane quality for the price (but if you are indifferent please get something else like flecktarn and let us have these 😂). These are out of stock as I'm writing this but my experience mostly should apply to the issued ones too.

It's lightweight, durable and surprisingly warm—in dry weather it's been good down to about 40 degrees Fahrenheit, at least for 10ish minutes of walking at a time like I've tried it. Warmer than that your arms might even heat up a bit if you don't unzip the wrists, but you can still wear it inside just fine. Also, it looks extremely cool and can be worn casually without making you look full tactical LARPer like the M70 jacket sometimes does. Be cautious with your washing machine if you like the colors or are afraid of pilling, but I don't think you can put a hole in this unless you really want to.

Great shirt

For 28 dollars i wasn't actually expecting much.

But the quality is high, the shirt is comfortable, the chest pockets have more space than i thought, its very weather resistant (although dont expect to shrug off a rain storm in it) and just all round a good shirt which i also wear as a light jacket dependent on the weather.

Great gardening shirt

I purchased one of these for my wife as a gardening shirt. Great fit, and super comfy once washed a few times.

Striking Field Shirt that ticks all the boxes

Bought one of the shirts, and it came pretty much as new - still in the original packaging.
I ordered a large and it fits perpectly and is very comfortable to wear.
They are of good quality and clearly built to last.
Order to delivery was extremely quick Wellington to Sydney within 4 days.
