The Israeli Defense Force has strived to produce its own military gear where possible and here they have produced some pretty neat socks! Made from a cotton/poly blend they are surprisingly soft with a small amount of fluffy internal lining below the neck. We would rate these somewhere in the middle for warmth - not too thick, not too thin. An ideal compromise between sweating it out in the Israeli sun and trying to keep warm on a cool desert night. A great bit of genuine surplus from the middle east!
