The original boonie hats were issued by the U.S. Army for protection against the elements as well as concealing the soldiers' outline. This boonie hat comes in a 3 colour desert camouflage, perfect for dry arid environments. 

As with all good boonie hats, this one features a foliage ring for adding vegetation to provide camouflage and an adjustable chin strap. An essential hat for fishing, hunting or long days hiking in the sun.
