This solid folding shovel comes from the Austrian Army. A robust wooden handle and metal shovel has allowed this to last years and years. Carrying on from the design of the M43, this shovel has a tri-folding head, making for great versatility. Included with this shovel is a camouflage cover, originating from the late 50's to 60's. This camouflage is referred to as "pea pattern" in English or "K4" as the Austrian soldiers nicknamed it.
The head of the shovel can be locked into different angles of a range of situations. Lock it at a slight angle or fully extend it for standard shoveling procedure. Or it can fold into a 90° state for use in trenches. Finally it can be folded down, giving you portability, perfect for keeping in your vehicle and taking with you anywhere.
