The whistle is of good construction, with smoothedges and good weight.
The sound itself isn't very good, and you have to put quite a bit of pressure into it to create the sound.
It was unlike the videos of Bobby Whistles I had seen online - but for the price I paid I can't complain too much.

Thiss while is good fun to blow and sounds exactly like the ones from the WW1 films where the men are 'encouraged' out of the trenches. Additionally, it is very loud and has a particular sort of tone to it so it can be heard from far away. The shiny surface also allows you to reflect sunlight if needed and it can easily be fastened to a belt, keyring, molle, etc as needed. I use it as a knickknack on my key ring and sometimes take it with me when I'm out and about in the bush but you could also gift it to your enemy's kids and they likely won't have any ear drums left in a week.
