*Note* The under pattern varies WIDELY on these parkas from barely visible to very prevalent, see the last 2 photos for an example. These will be picked at random
These Czech M60 parkas feature the distinctive rain camouflage pattern. The pattern is made up of dark vertical lines on a disruptive, green background. Originally these parkas were issued during the '60's and continued up until the '80's. Interestingly the splotched background pattern varies widely in visibility, but is extremely defined under night vision (where as the rain pattern nearly disappears). Arguably more useful for night combat back in its day, these are a spectacular looking jacket that will be great in a collection.
The thick cotton construction makes this parka a rugged piece to wear. Wear it as a top layer to protect yourself against the elements. Two buttoned waist pockets and a rear pocket offer storage for your tools or modern gadgets. The button-up front is covered by a storm flap which keeps the camo pattern uninterrupted while providing extra weather proofing. Even in modern times this parka makes a great casual jacket. Or make an addition to your Czech rain camo collection, along with the Czech M60 Field Cap.
