This is a seriously heavy duty duffel bag. Genuine US army gear built tough for military life. Its shoulder straps and carrying handle make it easy to lug around the huge amount of gear you can stuff in this mean green pack. The opening can be secured shut by threading the metal loop through the eyelets and attaching back to the clasp, an innovative and easy to access design.
Markings to these may vary as these duffles span quite a time frame with differing manufacturers and practices. A pouch on the front is useful for important documents and items. All of these fantastic features really make this a great bag for campers, hikers, trekkers, hunters and fishermen. If you're not interested in those types of outdoor activities, this can also be utilised as an emergency/survival kit bag, transport for sports gear or a tool bag, among other things.

For the price you're paying, this is absolutely worth it. The material feels sturdy, it fits a surprising amount of stuff, it's easy to pack down, and it looks bloody cool with its worn-in patina and military charm.
Just be aware that it may have a bit of a funky smell when you first unbox it! Nothing that a quick rinse and a good sunbathe couldn't fix.
For these types of army duffel bags, I highly recommend making a makeshift skeletal base using two coat hangers taped together and placed at the bottom. It gives the bag some structure and stops it from collapsing in on itself when you're loading it up.
Overall, I bloody love it. Nothing like a bit of questionable military surplus and stolen valor.

The coat hanger base is actually a clever tip for giving these old duffel bags a bit more structure. And yep, that unmistakable surplus aroma can sometimes be part of the experience! 😅

Got what I paid for, a bloody good duffel bag.
Used it last weekend. Slipped it over an empty cardboard box of same dimensions and crammed all my sports gear in it. Worked a treat!

Mine arrived as in new condition. Strong holds a lot .Packs small when empty. Various carry straps. I pack tent blow-up mattress sleeping bag etc All in it. Way better than I thought u won't b disappointed.
