Jungle boots are a combat boot that was designed for jungle environments, or hot, wet and humid conditions. They have vent holes and a canvas upper to aid in ventilation and moisture drainage. First tested in Panama and then used in WWII, most notably use during the Vietnam war, where they were in their natural habitat.
Enough of the history though, these are styled off the original US Military boots. The quality canvas and nylon upper is breathable yet strong. There is also a metal shank inside the sole. No this is not a James Bond style hidden knife, it's actually for protection from bamboo stake traps or other things that could penetrate the sole. If you're going outdoors, these are the boots you'll be needing.
*Note* These are not the original GI Jungle boots. We do not rate these for military use.

Overall impressed with it and had this for 8 months now. Still intact after all activities and camps I've been in cadets. Good thing it's not all leather, saves me time polishing. Although it doesn't have ankle support, but it's still a great boot for a great price
I have been looking for a good jungle boot, and I have found it!
Very solid, great ventilation and grippy tread.
I have not bought a pair off this site but I've bought them online and they used to get issued to us. They're honestly the best boot you can get and I've had alot to compare to. The desert version are great too, these are perfect for the Army as field or in camp boots as they polish up like nothing else, they hold there shape with there sturdy leather, the large tread grips anything and opens up so any mud cought in there falls out with your next step. They're my most comfortable boot and I own pairs of Lowas, Meindls and Magnums and still prefer these to them all. But what really impresses me is the extremely low price this site lists them at, I've only ever found hem this cheap on ebay and then have to pay for shipping too, I'm so glad to have come across these on this site and can't wait until I have a spare $90
Great boots for my teenage son in ATC (air training corps), comfy and a great price considering he is still growing, so wouldnt break the bank for a pair of 13 or 14 if needed. They are hardwearing and he likes that they aren't all leather as it saves him time polishing them!!
