New Zealand Special Air Service beret. This is a tan wool beret with a black leather headband and black internal lining. The interior shows printed maker markings and a clear size label, with “Hills Hats” and a 1987 date visible.

The beret has a traditional shape with a formed crown and drawstring adjustment at the rear.
