Description

These bread bags are genuine Romanian army surplus. Made in the 1970's these were already vintage in nature then, now, even more so! Made of a combination of cotton canvas (in a variety of shades - see last image), leather and steel, these make for fantastic retro looking bags and are built to last.

Equipped with an adjustable shoulder sling these are great for an everyday carry to work whether it be the office or a construction site. The bag is secured/opened with a simple buckle system and contains all up approximately 9 litres of space. We have two varieties, one having cotton strapping and another with more modern nylon strapping. There are 2 compartments, one a perfect size for A4 books and the other being long but thin - great for stationary, a fold down umbrella or a similar sized object.

  • Cotton canvas construction
  • Vintage look

    Romanian bread bag

Hi. I got this for smalls, & walking the dogs. Works well. Is light, comfortable, & durable. It can hold a surprising amount of stuff, and the divider is perfectly sized for a 1.25 L (cider) bottle.

I did install the side-flap things. Just for added security, & to synch it up better.

I would give it 5 stars. But nothing gets a 5.

    Cheers.

    Great everyday carry

I got this and the blue airforce one. The green feels slightly heavier/ stiffer material. Exactly as described and pictured. I bought these for my husband and I for day walks when we don't need backpacks. Plenty of room husband's binoculars, book, lunch etc; and I have room for my watercolour sketch kit plus food and water and the straps on top are perfect for my little folding three legged stool.

I think these are the perfect size for us and will get a lot of use. I love the opportunity to buy something that although used has plenty of life left, and the use it has had just adds some character.

Already thinking about getting a couple of backups :)
