US Navy 1970s Underwater Demolition Team Badge. Silver-filled military insignia manufactured by Vanguard, featuring a detailed design incorporating an anchor, trident, and flintlock pistol. The badge retains its original twin clutch-back fittings and displays the maker's mark and "Silver Filled" stamp on the reverse.

Underwater Demolition Teams (UDTs) were specialised US Navy units responsible for reconnaissance, obstacle clearance, and demolition operations. The UDTs formed the foundation from which the modern US Navy SEAL teams were developed. Used condition with light signs of previous ownership consistent with its age and service history.
