Description
USGI M-1951 field jacket in Small Regular sizing. This jacket features wool-lined hip pockets, buttons for attaching a liner, and a tuck-away lightweight hood. The original label is missing, and there is a large tear in the liner.
First introduced during the tail end of the Korean War, these jackets were designed to replace the older M-1943 that were no longer fit for purpose in colder climates. This particular jacket is the Korean War model, however it has subdued name and US Army tapes, so it likely saw use in the late 1960s to 1970s.
