The water repellent and abrasion resistant nylon outer covers the contoured foam cushioning, topped with a high density polyethylene cap . These knee pads are easy to use too! Open the adjustable hook & loop webbing/strapping, open the hook & loop neoprene flaps (to keep the straps from digging in), plomp it on, do it back up - and there we have it.
