USGI Wool Trigger Finger Mitten Liners

Insert your cold hands into a pair of woolen mitten inserts, fresh from the US Army. These are intended to slide into a pair of leather trigger finger mittens for operating in cold weather. By themselves, the inserts provide an insulating layer for use in mild conditions. The thumb and index finger are separated to offer more dexterity for pulling triggers and other precise finger motions. When such dexterity is not needed, you can scooch your index and thumb into the rest of the mitten to embrace the full warmth of your fellow fingers.
