Description

Another piece to the British MTP 23 puzzle, the combat shirt.

Updates from the previous British Personal Clothing System (PCS), these shirts have a more fitting cut with a narrower waist and a pleated back for ease of movement. Like the UBACS, these have the same ability to accept shoulder padding and dual access upper sleeve pockets. Update your MTP kit or just grab a fine shirt for whatever life throws at you.

    British MTP23 Shirt

    Looks like new! Different cut from the older MTP shirt, this MTP23 shirt has pleats 1/3 of the way up the back, so consider getting the next chest size up if you base your size on the older MTP shirt fit.

    Material is lighter weight, similar to the last iteration of the NZDPM before the introduction of current issue NZMTP.

    Fast drying polyester/cotton, Ripstop mix with usual milspec permethrin anti-insect and IR treatments.

    Great choice for summertime PCP/.22 bunny busting.

    That brit MTP camo works well in pine forest and dry farmland.

    My purchased example also came with "as issued" removable shoulder pads, zip toggles and velcro patch blank covers attached.

    Well-fitting and well-constructed shirt

    I took the plunge to see how this shirt compared to the older version, for sizing and functionality. The first thing I noticed was this shirt is near new, zero wear or tear, no markings/names etc. True to the condition stated, as always ;-)

    The fit is mega perfect, with plenty of room for movement and additional buttons per sleeve (3x in total) so you can secure the cuffs to fit comfortably. The additional shoulder pads are great which means I can swap them out to my MTP 23 UBACS. My shirt only came with the one velcro MTP patch/badge holder, but that's no big deal really.

    Overall, very impressed.
