Description

The British army DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) design is one of the most iconic military looks. Soldiers have been using this design both on and off the field for many years. However the pattern has been mostly replaced by MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) gear.

These smocks have been through the thick of it with Army life. Some may have non-working zippers, repairs, missing tabs or buttons. Equipped with pockets everywhere and tough material, with a bit of TLC and a sewing kit you can get plenty more life out of them for a rock bottom price. Ideal for any hunters or airsofters looking to really rough it out!

  • Genuine British surplus
  • Two buttoned chest pockets
  • Two zip napoleon pockets
  • Two buttoned waist pockets
  • Zip front closure
  • Pocket on left shoulder
  • Waist and hem drawstring
  • Large general purpose internal back pocket

Sizing: The first number is the chest circumference, the second size is the recommended height of the wearer. A "Small (88cm) / 170cm" will fit a person around 170cm tall with an 88cm chest size. For more information, check out our sizing guide.

    Good condition for value grade

This was a steal for the price. It's obviously been used, has a few repairs, and the zip toggle is gone, but there are years of life left. It does still zip up, just a bit more of a faff to get it started.

    British Army DPM Smock-value grade

Condition was good for value grade, only fault was the main zip as the little pull tab is gone from the slider body, but I think I can MacGyver a piece of wire on to the slider and a piece of para cord off that. These smocks are great with good sized pockets I can carry a heap of gear and retreive at a moments notice because I have a pocket for every item, so no sifting around for the wanted piece of gear.

    DPM Smock

Impressed with the condition of my value grade smock, exceeded my expectations. Lots of life left in this surplus smock and every zipper works and button present, side note…it’s really helpful being notified when your required size becomes available, excellent service right there.

    Excellent

OK, so I bought a 'good quality' one of these some weeks back, thinking it would be a 'used' item for rough work. Turns out I reckon it's too good to use in the workshop etc. So I bought a 'grade 2', with the description being 'well used, broken zips etc., etc.', expecting a real rough example for 'down and dirty'. I received a smock that was a bit more faded than my good one, due to a good many washes. No stitching repairs anywhere to be seen, all zips in perfect order, and...., one button missing from a pocket! Five minutes with a needle and thread, and it has another button. Incredible!
