The British Army issues the Peltor passive hearing protectors to personnel for small arms training. When not in use, the ear pieces fold away into the headband for easy storage and transportation. A stainless steel head band keeps the ear muffs firmly in place with the cushioned vinyl ear pieces resting around the ears. Each side features a pull-to-fit system which allows them to fit over different sized heads.

The Peltors are designed with a low profile for fitting under helmets in combat situations. These offer excellent ear protection - even James Bond can be seen using them in Skyfall. Since these are Army surplus and have seen some action, they may have the name of the previous owner scribbled onto them.
