When it comes to eye protection, both the US military and ESS do not compromise. Fully approved and issued to the US military, these meet Mil-spec requirement MIL-PRF-31013. In other words, you might have to try quite hard to poke your own eyes out!
Just as good news, this is probably the best value set that can get surplused out for us all to enjoy. Often ESS glasses come with multiple lenses as they can be swapped around - this set they just threw in two complete frames and nose pieces to go! Having said that, if you want to swap things around ie. you scratch a lens - you can. New lenses snap right in with ease as well as having the possibility of adding RX inserts (RX inserts not included) incase you are a spec wearer! The arms can both extend outwards incase you have a big noggin and the arms provide a good amount of flex to contour to your head for comfort. A really nice little extra touch is a carry case is provided as well as lens cleaner, eyewear strap and microfiber bag which doubles as a cloth.
We don't expect these to come back around too soon especially in unissued condition with such a complete set. Whether your on the range, hunting, airsofting or cycling, make sure you secure yours (and your eyes) today!
