Description
The British Royal Engineers or otherwise known as 'sappers' is one of the Corps of the British Army. With a strong military history also comes a dashing dress uniform. These particular ones were designed in 1906 and continued being made into the First World War. Some still have the original labels attached but some do not. Dates will vary, but shouldn't creep past 1918 - majority are around 1913-1914. Unfortunately after 110 years these didn't all come in original packaging but we have matched them as best we can and are selling them as a unsized set. The Brits certainly didn't do things by halves though even during War time - incredibly well made considering the material shortages.
This batch we have graded separately from the main lot as they have stains or other defects like missing buttons. For those who collect all things First World War and want to repair/patch-up a piece of WWI history, grab one of these today!
