British WWI Pattern 08 Webbing

British Army Surplus

*Metal parts have corrosion and some button domes are broken*

This innovative webbing set came to be due to the 1888 standard British Army set of personal equipment proving unsuitable for holding modern ammunition and having quickly deteriorating leather. In 1906, Major Burrows of the Royal Irish Fusiliers worked with the Mills Equipment Company to present this new webbing set design.

Although this webbing set was used in WWI, the parts of our sets contain both genuine and high quality replica pieces. Some of these sets have even be used in films. This is the perfect item for collectors, reenactors, people looking for a quality military costume and many more.
