Finnish M62 Reversible Pants
The original model of these trousers were issued in 1962 to the Finnish Army alongside the reversible jacket. The M62 range features camouflage on one side while the reverse is white. This makes it adaptable between woodland and snow terrain. Interestingly this camo was nicknamed "kurkkusalaatti" which means cucumber relish. These trousers were issued for decades until they were superseded by the M91 range. Even then they were still in use into the early 2000's. As these have been issued they may have repairs.
The heavy cotton design is durable enough for a variety of terrain including snowy mountains and woodlands. Two slash entry pockets on the sides allow the wearer to access their pockets on the trousers worn underneath. There is also a cargo pocket on each side so you have storage regardless of how you're wearing them. Instead of having loops for a belt, the waist can be tightened with a drawstring which ties at the front. Below that is the 3 button fly. Wear these over wool or thermal pants during the colder months. Also great as an overtrouser during paintball, airsoft or hunting.
