The French Army introduced a desert camouflage pattern around 1990. It was nicknamed "Daguet" after Operation Daguet - the French name for the first Gulf War. The pattern hasn't changed much since it's original release, only some very minor changes to the colour and shape.
This shirt is has a mid-weight cotton construction and short sleeves. This makes it durable enough for some physical activity in warmer conditions. The front features two chest pockets alongside hook & loop strips for insignia patches. Shoulder epaulettes complete the military appearance of the shirt. Pick one of these up for your collection or bring it out for use in the warmer months.
Features:
Genuine French Army surplus
Two button-down chest pockets
Hook & loop strips for name and insignia
Button-up front
Shoulder epaulettes

These shirts are fantastic.
I bought one to use as fishing / bush shirt.
A very high quality product.
Mine fits me perfectly and is very comfortable to wear even on the hottest Aussie day
The fabric is tough and hard wearing.
The pockets are of a really decent size and will easily hold a mobile phone, compass etc.
This has definitely been a worthwhile purchase.

While not the pattern I really wanted, I have no regrets in getting two of these. A nice relaxed fit and great quality. Would recommend them to anyone.
